June Bride (and Groom) at Totally Papercrafts

Good morning. I can't believe it's Friday already - who stole this week - or at least a couple of days have been stolen I'm sure - either that or I've overslept with the paint fumes and missed a few days :o)

Good news is the upstairs is nearly all finished - especially loving the new look in my bedroom - it really does have the WOW factor - now I'm busy trying to find some lovely finishing touches - think I might have to pop down The Mall (again) today - might even get the chance to have another sneaky snuggle with Ruby Mae :o)

Pretty Pearls at Divas by Design

Good morning.

Hope you are having a good week so far.

Mine has been busy - as expected!!! The bathroom is finished and looking lovely and the stairs and landing are nearly finished - looking equally lovely. The painter hopes to finish the stairs and landing today and then make a start in my bedroom and en-suite - I'm soooooooooo looking forward to that being done :o)

Then next week it will be the kitchen and dining room and finally the hall - yippeee - it makes everything look so clean and fresh and like brand new :o)

I have also been trying to get ahead with my DT work for next month as I am due to go into hospital on Friday 12 July to have an op on my elbow :o(

Another Couple of Christmas Makes

Good morning.

Sorry I didn't get round to see you all yesterday - I look after my squidgilicious Grandson Oliver on Wednesday mornings and then yesterday Aaron & Kerry also decided to come for tea - so it was a busy one all day. 

By the time they went home I just wanted to flake in front of the telly and watch The Apprentice - oh there are some really annoying characters left in this series - not sure I'd hire any of them lol!!!!

I can't believe how miserable the weather is still :o(

It's more like Autumn than Summer - so with that in mind the best place to be is in my little crafty haven having some fun.

Father's Day at A Gem of a Challenge

Hope you have some lovely plans for the weekend - we have plans for a lovely family meal tomorrow to celebrate my eldest son's 30th birthday earlier this week.

FATHER'S DAY/MALE CARD

Here's what I did:

 

I used a fabulous image from Pink Gem Designs: 'Golf Monster' - I used the pre-coloured image and printed it a few times so that I could create my own decoupage.



I also used a background design paper - and in Craft Artist I added the Golf Monster image and the

Keep Calm Golf Sentiment then printed onto linen effect cardstock.

Some simple and layering and then added the decoupage layers.
