It's Bloomin' All Over at Allsorts

Good morning. Hope you are all keeping well and those not I wish well soon.

What an earth has happened with the weather - we had glorious sunshine whilst others just a few miles away were having a wild storm with thunder and lightening - and when I say a few miles away I really mean less than 5 miles - how crazy is that???!!!

Before I share my card with you for the new challenge over at

ALLSORTS

as picked by the lovely Helene

IN BLOOM

I just want to let a very special person that reads my blog on a regular basis know that they are in my thoughts - I may not be very good with the spoken word - I seem to be better at putting it in writing but I want them to know that they are loved and thought of in a special way every day :o)

So on to my card for today and I decided to make a gatefold card this time

I inked some white card stock with Victorian Velvet and Old Paper Distress Inks and then stamped my floral image by Kanban and heat embossed with clear EP.

The scrummy design papers are by Wild Rose Studio and were a freebie with a Craft magazine.

A few adhesive pearls added for detail.

Sentiment Craftwork Cards - inked then mat and layered onto a Spellbinders Blossom die

Inside sentiment from my lovely DT buddy Emma - mat and layered onto larger Blossom die

Some gorgeous vintage rose seam binding and a scrummy Wild Orchid Crafts rose to finish it off.

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the details of our sponsor this week and to see the awesome inspiration from my DT buddies.

BINGO at Aud Sentiments

Good morning. This is my first post for today (I'll be back shortly with another post for MAWTT) but this time I'm here to share my DT project for

and this fortnight our theme is

BINGO

I chose the middle row down - 'Flowers, Embossing and Thinking of You'

And here's what I came up with:

I was very lucky to have won this scrummy Hero Arts stamp from my bestest blogging buddy Claire's candy a little while ago and I soon as I saw the challenge theme I thought it would be perfect :o)

So I inked a piece of white card stock using the gorgeous Spring Colours set of Distress Inks and then overstamped the image with Black Archival ink and heat embossed with clear EP

This was then mat and layered onto another piece of white card stock that I embossed with Spellbinders M-Bossability 'Valor' and inked with the same Distress Inks and then mat and layered onto some co-ordinating card stock that I pierced around the edges using Tim Holtz design ruler.

A few colour co-ordinated flowers, some adhesive pearls and a little spotty ribbon to finish it off.

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the gorgeous inspiration from the rest of my DT buddies

Summer Holidays at An Oldie But Goodie

Hello and welcome to my lovely new followers - it's great to see you here - hope you like what you see and decide to stay a while.

Today sees the launch of a new challenge for you over at

and this time my lovely blogging and DT buddy

(and surrogate Grandma to Oliver and Lola Arizona) Laurie

has picked the theme

SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Now the idea behind thechallenge blog is to use your crafty goodies that you have had in your stash for a t least 6 months.

I decided to go with something completely different for me and made my card using my Craft Artist CD Rom that I have had for over a year now and never done anything with it!!!

So I created a background using papers, materials and elements from one of the many Digi Kits I also bought with the Craft Artist CD - 'Beaches' from Daisy Trail - available here

I then added one of my digi images from Digi Stamp Boutique - the PNG version so that is was the outline only so when I printed the whole thing off I was then able to colour the omage using my PM's and FM'S

I have had this resource in my stash for such a long time and never used it before but I was thrilled with the end result :o)

I have already had another wee play with the CD and craeted some Digi Scarpo LO's that I hope to share with you another day.

Our sponsor this week is

Robyn's Fetish

GD at Love to Create - Anything Goes

Hello again!!

I'm thrilled to be sharing my second post of today with you as it's my Guest Designer project for

and the theme this week is

ANYTHING GOES

I was very lucky to have won the Simon Says Stamp challenge a few weeks ago and with the very generous gift voucher I won I bought the Tim Holtz Spring Edition of Distress Inks and I have used them here on my wall hanging.

The colours are soooooooo scrummy :o)

So I inked the plain white frame with the 3 colours and also inked the small panel before stamping and heat embossing the sentiment - part of a freebie stamp set with Papercraft Essentials magazine this month.

The adorable Wee Stamps image is also from the same stamp set and I have coloured her with PM's and FM's and then fussy cut and adhered to the front of the frame.

The DP's is from K&Co 'Poppy Seed'

The gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts - some if which I was very lucky to have won from the lovely Pops recently - thank you hun :o)

Butterflies - Martha Stewart punch

Ribbons from stash

I am thrilled to be Guest Designer with Love to Create and I'm looking forward to seeing all your lovely projects.
