LOTV 'With Love' and a Garden Update

Good afternoon. Just thought I'd pop by to post a card I made earlier today - the first one I've made since last week - before my scrummilicious Grand-Daughter Lola Arizona arrived for a few days :o)

But now she has gone back home to Mummy in Southsea (Portsmouth) and I miss her terribly :o(

Thank goodness she will be back again in a couple of weeks and we will get to see here before we go on our jolly holibobs :o)

I also wanted to share some photos of the garden makeover so far - they are at the end of this post.

I have had this little beauty since it was launched earlier in the year and today is the first time it has been inked up - how rude!!!!

Case It at Allsorts

Good morning. Well it looks like another glorious sunny day here in Gloucestershire so I think we will have a trip out to Bourton on the Water and take Lola Arizona for a picnic.

The garden is coming along nicely but still looks like a building site so I hope the weather holds out next week when the 'transformation' stage starts to happen :o)

Anyways it's Saturday so I'm here to share my DT card for

I followed the sketch and used a Penny Black hedgie image

Image coloured with PM's

and mat and layered onto Spellbinders plain circle (edges inked with Peeled Paint) and Spellbinders Snowflake Pendant 2012

The 2 small snowflakes embellies are the centre of the Cherry Blossom Memory Box die :o)

It's Just A Number at Get Funky

Good morning. Just a quick post from me again this morning as little Lola Arizona will be here very soon and if today is like yesterday I will be run ragged before lunchtime lol!!!!!

Today it is my turn to share some inpsiration with you for this month's Funky 15th challenge at

GET FUNKY

as picked by our very lovely Jackie

JUST A NUMBER

Here's what I did:

I have to confess that I actually made rhis quite some time ago - when Anice released the

Happy Happy Birthday Papercraft Factory CD

But as I haven't shared it on my blog I thought it would be perfect timing to share it now :o)

The card base was made using the Wobble Card template on the CD and one of the fab funky papers from the Sunshine Birthday collection.

I also dies cut a scallopped circle from the Happy Birthday text paper from the same collection.

The number topper is a digi stamp from the CD too.

A few co-ordinating flowers and job done!!

Good morning. I have mixed emotions today - mega excited as my scrummilicious Grand-daughter Lola Arizona is coming to stay for a few days :o)

But I'm also a little sad as this will be my last DT card for

I have enjoyed my short but sweet spell on the DT but unfortunately there are not enough hours in a week for me to fulfil all my DT duties effectively and as I am already on 2 other DT's that post on Thursday as well - this one had to go :o(

Birthdays at Stampavie and More

Good morning. Hope you are all enjoying this fabulous weather we are having - I know I am :o)

The garden is looking like a bombsite at the moment but I'm sure it will be stunning when it's finished - I can hardly wait - hope the weather holds out for when it's done.

I'll post some before and after pics when it's finished.

Anyways the real reason I'm here is to share my DT card for

Here's what I did:

I thought I would go nice and bright to match the sunshine we're having :o)

Adorable image - Sugar Nellie 'Delia' and I have coloured her with PM's and FM's

Her sparkly wings were a bit of an accident and I meant to bling them up with Glamour Dust Crystal but I accidently added Glamour Dust Gold - I brushed some off so that it looked a bit softer and this was the end result - I quite like it but I think I would have preferred the Crystal :o(

The scrummy DP's are Bo Bunny 'Vicki B' and I inked the edges with Wild Honey Distress Ink

Picture Inspiration at An Oldie But Goodie

Good morning. I can hardly believe that two weeks have past since our last challenge at

AN OLDIE BUT GOODIE

but it has so I am here today to share my make for the new theme as picked by the very lovely (and oh so glamourous) Lisa - have you checked out her new photos recently :o)
