I am now on the 'serious' countdown to Christmas and starting to feel a little giddy with excitement :o)

Season's Greetings from Rudolph

Good morning.

Thank you for all the well wishes yesterday.

I went to the Doctor's and I have a nasty virus that is doing the rounds and I have severe Larnygitis so I have to TRY not to speak as much as possible - not sure how well I will cope with that one when 'the boys' are always asking 'where's this that and the other' or 'how do you do this that and the other' lol!!!



Anyway I'm here to share another festive make with you and this time I have used one of my new Sizzix dies I got on special offer recently - I love it :o)

It's a bit of an unusual size card for me - A6 - but I cut the card so that it has a side fold opening on the short side to better suit the LO.

Going Going Gone!!!!

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Hope you are all well and those not I wish well soon.

I've been a bit quiet lately - not just with blogging but literally too!! I had a sore throat at the beginning of the week that developed into a barking cough and then on Wednesday I lost my voice totally - which somewhat confused poor Oliver when he came to play :o(

So today I have an appointment at the Doctors to see if I need antibiotics.

Obviously John and Jack think it's hilarious - especially when I answer the phone lol!!!

Home Sweet Home

Good morning. Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Mine was a busy crafty one - still trying to get ahead with December DT makes and my Christmas Craft Fayre (this weekend). 

Jack played football yesterday and his team won again - so they are now through to the quarter finals :o)

I have another piece of Home Decor to share with you today - using an MDF item I purchased at the NEC in March (I think!!!) 

See the MDF keys - well here's what I did with one of them:

I started by painting the key with Gesso and then a Mother of Pearl Pearlescent paint. 

Then I covered it with some Decopatch Tissue paper and painted another thin coat of the pearlescent paint over the top.

I found the Home Sweet Home sentiment on the internet - but I can't find the link again :o(

Let it Snow!!

Good evening.

I'm back again with my second post for today - please scroll down or click here to see my DT card for Sketch n Stash.

I just couldn't resist sharing the project I have been working on for the past few days using some MDF letters I bought at the NEC :o)

I started by painting the MDF letters with white Gesso then I added a coat of Cornflower White acrylic paint.
When that had dried I stamped the cute Penny Black 'Sweet Snowman' image and then masked him off before painting with Indigo Blu Acrylic Paint 'Grandma's Tea Cup'

Then I coloured Snowy Copics.
